Transmit Power Level

(Conventional Personality, Tx Options)

Selects the radio's power level for transmitting while operating on the current Conventional Personality.

	The Tx Low Power button-press, the Tx Low Power switch-toggle, and the Power menu-selection take precedence over this setting when radio-user selected.
	During Emergency Mode the radio automatically transmits at high power.

When the Receive Only Personality field is "Disabled".

SELECTIONS:	DEFINITIONS:
Low	Used when communicating in close proximity, and to keep the radio from transmitting into other geographical groups operating on the same frequency.
High	Used when a stronger signal is needed to extend transmission distances.
